A Quick Word about the Fund
At the end of April, 2010, Jason collapsed with abdominal pain, was rushed to the hospital, and was diagnosed with cancer and admitted for emergency surgery.
While in surgery Jason's employer held a reduction in force and Jason was one of many people "riffed". While arrangements have been made to keep Jason under medical coverage, Jason has no short or long term disability, and while in treatment, he's not well enough to work.
We've set up a Benevolent Fund for Jason at BECU for those who can make contributions to help him offset his financial obligations.
You can make a donation right now using the Donate page.
Thanks for anything you can contribute to help out!
A Note from Jason Goodwin
First off, I'm honored that you decided to stop by the site. I never imagined being in a position where I would be creating a site like this so bare with me as I continue to fill it out. This will be a simple site where I'll keep the news updated with my progress as I stomp this Lymphoma into the ground. >:)

5/31/2010 - Chemo regiment #2 begins
Hair loss is the latest change. The time finally came to take it down. It's a lot chillier now! Today is the beginning of regiment 2 (of 4). This is a 5 day stay at Evergreen Medical where they will administer short doses of chemo daily, ending with a spinal tap/chemo infusion on Friday. This spinal tap of chemo is given to keep the lymphoma out of the spinal column and brain. As much as I don't care for spinal taps, I'll grudgingly accept this one with open arms.
